Hello. I'm new here. I love your website. I noticed a small error on the entry for Ninja. It says that Niña is a Spanish form of Nina. Actually in Spanish, niña is not a name, but a word meaning "girl".

Also, do you think the name Ninja could have anything to do with the Japanese ninja?

Thank you for your message. I checked my books and updated "Ninja". I don't think the name has anything to do with the Japanese ninja, but of course it is possible that some parents naming their child Ninja might have been inspired by them.
