Asgarðr (Old Norse Asgarðr = 'home of the Æsir') is the stronghold of the gods in Nordic mythology. It is situated in Goðheimr and there are many nice buildings in Asgarðr, such as Hliðskjálf, Iðavǫllr, Glaðsheimr (with Valhalla), Himinbjǫrg and Vingólf.

Asgarðr is in the sky and the bridge Bifrǫst leads to it. ^{[1] [2]}
