Fantasy name invented by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren for her books about Pippi Långstrump (English title: Pippi Longstocking)
In the books, Pippi is a short form of Pippilotta Viktualia Rullgardina Krusmynta Efraimsdotter Långstrump, the last two names being surnames.
Pippilotta: Combination of Swedish pippi = 'quirk' + Lotta
Viktualia: Swedish viktualier = 'victuals'
Rullgardina: Swedish rullgardin = 'roller blind'
Krusmynta: Swedish krusmynta = 'curly mint, Latin name: Mentha Spicata Crispa'
Efraimsdotter: Swedish Efraimsdotter = 'daughter of Efraim'
