In June 2021, 4 names were submitted to the Icelandic naming committee for approval. Three of them were approved and one rejected:
- Kóbra: This Icelandic vocabulary word for a cobra snake was approved.
- Elliot: This Old French diminutive form of Elias was rejected but
- Ellíot: This Icelandic spelling of Elliot was approved instead.
- Matteó: This Icelandic spelling of Matteo which is an Italian form of Matthæus (Matthew) was approved. Previously (approved in June 2018), only the spelling Mateó had been allowed.
