Further Information
Greenlandic Mythology
- In the legend about Pakaasi and his family an extremely old woman was called Inûjuk. Her son, who also was very old, related that his mother was born immediately after the Norsemen disappeared from Greenland. When his mother finally died, the land across Qaquk off Nuuk was named after her Inûjuk. [1]
