Hervǫr is the name of a Valkyrie. She is the sister of Hlaðgunnr and the daughter of Hlǫðver. Hervǫr, Hlaðgunnr and Ǫlrún are described as being swan-maidens who can fly with the aid of their swan-shifts. ^[2]
