2) Danish kamille = 'chamomile' (flower, Lat. Matricaria chamomilla). The name of the flower derives from Greek χαμαίμηλον (chamaimēlon) = 'earth-apple', from Greek χαμαί (chamai) = 'on the ground' and μήλον (mēlon) = 'apple' because its scent is apple-like [5]
